Vaiula Beach Fales sits on a quiet stretch of Samoa's south coast, where the lagoon is calm, the reef is alive, and the pace of life is exactly as it should be.
We are a family-owned property — built by hand, run with heart, and shaped by generations of Samoan hospitality. What began as a few simple fales for visiting friends and family has grown into a place that welcomes guests from all over the world.
The family behind Vaiula Beach Fales
Meet Dave and his children, Our family has lived on this land for generations. The ocean has always been at the centre of our lives — for food, for play, for traditions and for connection. When we opened Vaiula to guests, we wanted to share that relationship, not just the view.
Every fale was built using traditional methods, with materials sourced locally where possible. Some of the meals we serve come from our garden and the sea. The stories we tell around the table are real ones.
